Read the guideWhen a file or task gets stuck
Start where the workflow stops: import, reading, AI or saving. A specific error message is more useful than several untargeted restarts.
Check whether the file is the cause
Open the input in its original program first. Check that it is readable, supported and within the file limits. A scanned PDF needs recognition; an apparently empty text source is not automatically an AI error.
Try a small, non-sensitive file in the same format. This helps identify whether the problem affects only one source. Do not change or delete your originals for this check.
Check the connection and access
- Read the message and note which step shows it.
- Check the licence and credit balance under Settings → Subscription.
- For AI tasks, check the active service and connection. An AI provider of your own may limit the request through its account or model.
- For an interrupted task, check any existing result before starting another attempt.
Useful details for support
Describe your operating system, Docsi version, file format and exact message. Include the steps that reproduce the problem. Share only an approved sample file or a cleaned excerpt, never a licence or API key.
Why are images or special layouts missing?
Import uses a supported content structure. Complex external layouts are not recreated losslessly. Check the format guide and keep the original.
Should I email my licence key to solve the problem?
No. For subscription issues, give the purchase email and error message. Access keys do not belong in a normal support description.
